Time Out says

You don’t just walk into ATLAS – you make a grand entrance here. Set within the lobby of Parkview Square in Bugis – also known as Singapore’s ‘Gotham Building’  – ATLAS looks straight out of The Great Gatsby, with all soaring ceilings, gleaming gold, and that iconic eight-metre gin tower rising dramatically at the heart of the space, glinting with over 1,300 bottles of juniper spirit from around the world. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to swap your sneakers for something shiny and order a martini, stirred with a little bit of magic.

Since opening in 2017, ATLAS has become a name every serious cocktail lover knows. It’s consistently ranked among The World’s 50 Best Bars, and bagged top honours like Tatler Asia’s Best Design Award and the Rémy Martin Legend of the List Award. But despite all the glitz and glam, ATLAS isn’t the kind of bar that turns up its nose. It’s elegant, yes, but always warm, welcoming and just the right amount of extra.

Plus, it's easy to have a conversation with the bar team here. Simply tell them the types of gin you enjoy or the flavour profile of drinks you prefer, and they'll make a suitable recommendation, so you can leave out all the guesswork as you admire the super impressive gin collection.

But if there’s one drink you need to try, it’s the ATLAS Martini. This suave mix of the bar’s own ATLAS London Dry Gin, vermouth, orange bitters and champagne vinegar will have even the most seasoned martini drinkers weak at the knees – crisp, complex, and irresistibly smooth. Launched in 2025, the gin itself captures the bar’s quiet confidence and timeless style, now taking pride of place as the house pour across the menu.

The vibe

Plush banquettes and soft lighting make it equally perfect for date nights, long lunches or simply sitting at the bar pretending you’re in a Wes Anderson film. Grand, but never stuffy – ATLAS knows how to have fun.

The food

You’ll want to stay for more than just drinks. The menu leans European, with polished all-day plates that are easy to linger over. But if you’re only trying one thing, make it the ATLAS Afternoon Tea – tiers of dainty bites, both sweet and savoury, served with fine teas or champagne if you’re feeling fancy.

The drinks

The cocktail menu is a love letter to classics like the gin and tonic, martini, gimlet and old fashioned, all reimagined with a touch of theatre. Or let the bartenders surprise you with the cocktail of the month – a hush-hush creation inspired by the glamour and thrill of the Jazz Age, revealed only to those who ask.

For those who like their bubbles, the rose-gold Champagne Room stocks over 240 labels from the world’s best houses. Basically, if you leave thirsty, that’s on you.

Time Out tip

This Halloween, ATLAS is going delightfully dark. The bar’s teaming up with some of Hong Kong’s top bartenders, including Artifact’s Beckaly Franks and J Frank, Call Me Al’s Chloe Natterer, and Mostly Harmless’ Ezra Star, for a night of world-class cocktails, flowing champagne and deadly fun times. There will be roving doll characters, dance mobs, and DJs spinning till late too. Costumes are highly encouraged – and yes, there’s a Best Dressed award for those who go all in. Book here now.
