Looking for some of the best pubs to watch the football in London? Perhaps an establishment that serves up quality craft beer alongside its live sport? No matter who you support, the city is packed with brilliant boozers just waiting for you to fill it with your excited screams and anguished groans. Take a look through our list of recommended pubs and sports bars for watching football, where you’ll find an atmosphere almost as good as you would on the terraces...

The best London pubs for football fans

  • Holborn

Possibly the only pub in central London where you can watch the footie surrounded by Greek-style sculptures on the bar. If you’re heading down for a mid-week match, make the most of their happy hour deals on cocktails, pizzas, beer, Prosecco and more.

This local Irish pub (local if you’re in Finsbury Park, that is) screens many of the top Premiership and Championship games in their barn-like back room with picnic table seating. Its multi-storey back garden is perfect for a half-time breather, too. Word of warning though, rugby can take precedence over its rounder cousin.
